West Midlands Self Advocacy Network
This is the team that leads the Network and makes it a success – below are our Link Workers .

There is at least 1 Link Worker at each of our Groups. Each Link Worker has a learning disability and/or autism.

A Link Worker is a paid role. It’s not an easy role as the Link Workers work hard to make a difference for their local communities.

Once the Link Workers have completed their research on a project, we can see what’s working and what’s not. We can then start to look at how we can make it better and who we can work with to help us change things.

Link Workers also get the chance to do some training to help them be as successful and effective as they possibly can be in their roles.
